Who will be held accountable for Fast and Furious?

This week we learned even more about Fast and Furious, the ATF operation which knowingly armed Mexican drug cartels in a failed attempt to track trafficking along America's southern border.  According to the latest reports, Attorney General Eric Holder received numerous memos on the operation, despite offering conflicting testimony before Congress.  House Republicans are now demanding answers from Holder, but the White House is instead coming down hard on the CBS News reporter dedicated to reporting the facts.

In the end, one key question remains: Who will be held accountable?

From the House Oversight & Reform Committee:

Your government - in the form of the Obama-Holder Justice Department - helped arm Mexican drug cartels through the botched sting known as Operation Fast and Furious. Hundreds have died and the Obama Administration refuses to answer the question: who is accountable here? Where does the buck stop?

Oversight Committee watchdogs, led by Chairman Darrell Issa, will not relent until those responsible for this felony stupid, deadly Obama Administration program is held to public account. Americans have a right to know.
