"This is Bloomberg." -- NY Post: Protesting teacher that makes $80,000 arrested after assaulting cop... ...hasn’t shown up for work five times in the past two weeks --
Thursday morning, the New York Post captured a violent conflict between two of the "Occupiers" at Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan.
On the video, a man reported to be Jeremy Clinch of Cleveland is seen unspooling in a profanity-laced rant that ends in a violent confrontation with another protester:
After the dust settled, the Post spoke with Recai "Rocky" Iskender, the bald man who was wakened from his sleep by the crazed Mr. Clinch.
Iskender claims to be a former Turkish diplomat who is (according to his Facebook page) is on a hunger strike in Zuccotti Park, hoping to force the redistribution of wealth.
"I demand to take it from the filthy rich and give it to the poor."
According to the Post story, Iskender believes that Jeremy Clinch is nothing more than a government plant who infiltrated OWS in order to undermine the movement:
"This is Bloomberg (pointing at the cops)... Bloomberg's police machine... police state finds those guys to infiltrate, to disrupt it. That's what Bloomberg wants."
The fight was basically over after Iskender landed a solid left hook, knocking the ranting Jeremy Clinch to the ground. A volunteer EMT lead Clinch away as offers of help from police on the scene were rejected.
The story does have a silver lining. Last night, Mr. Iskender posted an update on his Facebook page announcing the arrival of a new tent.
