Hong Kong Debuts Tiny, Pod-Like Hotel Rooms as a Place to Sleep for Cheap

"It's pretty spacious."
For some looking for a hotel room, all they really want is a place to lay their head. So, a $100, $200 or $300+ bill per night is not appealing. Enter the pod, or capsule, hotel room, which comes at more attractive $30 per night.
The Associated Press reports that Hong Kong is introducing some of its first capsule hotels, which feature row upon row of beds that look eerily similar to slots portraying a county morgue in Hollywood movies.
Galaxy Star Shk has been providing beds such as this for university students for some time and has now branched out to hotels.
