The Washington Post updated some graphics this week to reflect the perception vs. reality of rising gas prices. The graphics were originally posted last May.
"[A] new poll found that seven in 10 of us find the issue very important," the Post writes. "But for most of us, a bigger number on the pump makes only a small dent in our annual expenses."
You can click between two sets of graphics showing the "perception" and "reality" of gas prices.
There should be a third graphic: "Perception is reality." It could just be a copy of the photo accompanying this post.
