Getting crime out of sports teams' names

The moronic decision by the MLB to ban the image of a Colt .45 on the retro-jerseys of the Houston Astros immediately reminded me of a great line from comedian and columnist Argus Hamilton when D.C.'s NBA team was changing its name:

"The Washington Bullets are changing their name. The owners no longer want their team's name to be associated with crime. So from now on the team will be known as The Bullets."
