Hard at work in Washington, D.C., THE BLAZE's Liz Klimas eats a buffalo chicken salad for lunch.

As I sit next to her (yet, oddly, at a separate table) she tells me she's working on a story about "a giant bug" which will likely be published on the front page this evening.

As you can see, Liz has skipped the croutons because she's "not eating bread for Lent."
