Remember those anti-street drug ads from the 1990s? This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?
They were scary. And so is this new ad out by Herman Cain's bizarre "Cain Solutions" project. In it, a little girl appears to kill a gold fish by way of asphyxiation to illustrate a point about the Stimulus package's effects on the economy. It's just a fish.
In an email to Talking Points Memo, Cain's spokesman said of the fish, "If it was harmed it didn’t complain. :-)"
And in the video's description on YouTube: "The goldfish is fine, but our economy isn't."
The end of the video directs you to SickofStimulus.com which is little more than a place where you can give money to "Cain Solutions" (go figure) and see the ad again.
