It was Peter Gabriel's 1986 song "Sledgehammer" playing in the background while Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a "slut" last week. Gabriel is now trying to make sure Limbaugh doesn't use his music anymore.
From Gabriel's Facebook:
"Peter was appalled to learn that his music was linked to Rush Limbaugh's extraordinary attack on Sandra Flute. It is obvious from anyone that knows Peter's work that he would never approve such a use. He has asked his representatives to make sure his music is withdrawn and especially from these unfair aggressive and ignorant comments."
At this time 2,844 people have "liked" the post and it has received 658 shares on other profiles.
Noteworthy: Gabriel was also a member of the rock band Genesis. Classic.
