Hurricane Isaac's Winds So Strong It Forces Weather Channel Reporter to...Tebow on Live Television

"Whatever it's worth, I hope I'm makin' Tebow proud."

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow got a shout-out he probably wasn't expecting during a Weather Channel report this morning. While broadcast meteorologist Jim Cantore was reporting from smack-dab-in-the-middle of Hurricane Isaac's wrath, he did a curious thing -- he Tebowed.

Cantore, who was on-air live from the streets of New Orleans, was visibly being tossed and battered by the storm. As he described the scene as having "some of the strongest winds" he'd seen all morning, he admitted that it was "really hard to stand up."

So, rather than continuing to fight against the vicious weather, he squatted down and entered into the famed prayer stance that has solidified Tebow as a cultural icon. While some viewers might have assumed that the stance was accidental or by coincidence, Cantore's comments solidified the connection.

"Whatever it's worth, I hope I'm makin' Tebow proud," he proclaimed.
