Bill Clinton may end up being the DNC's Clint Eastwood

It was reported last week that Clint Eastwood's was given very little instruction for his speech at the Republican convention. The result was an oddball, goofy adlib that involved an empty chair and had even Republicans calling it a screw up.

Planners of the Democratic convention may end up with a similar problem.

From CBS News:

Former President Bill Clinton has not submitted his Democratic National Convention speech to the Obama campaign for "vetting"yet, but a senior campaign official told CBS News Monday that the campaign isn't concerned about it.

"He will get his speech done when he wants to get his speech done. We're not worried one bit," the campaign official said.

Clinton is scheduled to deliver his speech two days from now on Wednesday when he formally nominates President Obama.
