A protestor shouted something mostly inaudible except for the word “corporations."
You have to admire the gumption of liberals who decide to protest conservatives right in the middle of their own turf. Whether it was the protester who tried to shout down Sarah Palin at CPAC, or the man who brazenly rushed the stage while Rep. Paul Ryan was speaking, the simultaneous oversupply of guts and undersupply of self-preservation is quite something to behold.
Now, there's another person preparing to join this hall of protest fame. Mediaite reports that Paul Ryan was heckled today during his speech at the Values Voters Summit -- a gathering that parallels CPAC in political orientation, but which is generally focused more on social issues than on economic issues:
During his Friday afternoon speech before the Value Voters Summit in Washington, D.C., Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan was heckled by a protestor who was promptly escorted off the premises.As Ryan spoke about critics labeling Republicans “anti-government,” a protestor shouted something mostly inaudible except for the word “corporations."
