Children Exposed to Porn While Watching 'Lilo & Stitch' on Disney Channel

North Carolina mom Georgie Brown says her three young children were watching their favorite movie, "Lilo & Stitch," on Dish Network's feed of the Disney Channel earlier this month when pornography interrupted the program shortly after the movie began, WHNS reports.

"My 5-year-old grabbed his ears and ran out of the room screaming, 'I didn’t do it,' and the 3-year-old was sitting there crying," she said. Brown also reportedly has a son younger than 2-years-old.

"The kids wanted to see 'Lilo & Stitch,'" the mother said, who had recorded the family-friendly movie earlier this month and played it later for the kids.

According to Brown's recollection of the events, about a minute into the movie, an alert message popped up on the screen alerting that part of "Lilo & Stitch" had not been recorded because of signal problems. For the next six minutes, she says, the young children saw video of a man and a woman having sex. When the mother heard the sounds of porn coming from the television set, she rushed in to investigate.

"I just heard things that probably shouldn’t be on Lilo or Stitch," she told WHNS. "My first thought was the children have changed the channel."

Brown's children had not changed the channel, she said. Instead, the six-minute pornographic video was recorded within the movie, Brown said.

"If you can imagine Maggie Simpson sitting on a sofa watching porn that was him just sitting there sucking his pacifier kind of clueless," Brown said of her youngest child's reaction. "My 5-year-old grabbed his ears and ran out of the room screaming, 'I didn't do it,' and the 3-year-old was sitting there crying."

Brown showed FOX Carolina's Cody Alcorn the information page from the movie she recorded. Alcorn said it was very clear it was Lilo and Stitch from 2002. It was rated PG.

Cody Alcorn talked to David Guttey, a contractor for Dish Network, who looked at Brown's receiver.

"I've been in the TV industry for 15 years and I've never once seen that," Guttey said. "It kind of had me astonished."

“We are taking this matter very seriously. Our engineering groups are actively investigating these reports,” a senior manager of corporate communications for Dish Network told the Daily News.
