Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Chad Jenkins made an unusual -- but nonetheless effective -- catch Friday night, first nabbing the ball, then his glove -- in that order.
When New York Yankees center fielder Curtis Granderson knocked a line drive right back to Jenkins on the mound, Jenkins quickly put up his glove. He caught the ball, but the force of it swept his glove off his hand, sending it up into the air. Jenkins caught the glove, with the ball still inside, to get Granderson out and end the first inning.
