Obama's GOP outreach efforts 'feel fake to him

President Obama began his so-called "charm offensive" last week with a dinner with a dozen Senate Republicans. It continues today with a series of four Capitol Hill visits to meet with congressional leaders to foster bipartisanship on a range of issues, particularly a budget deal.

The sticky sweetness apparently isn't really Obama's thing, but he's doing it anyway...

Aides say Mr. Obama will continue his outreach even if the phone calls and other overtures can “feel fake to him,” in the words of one associate.
