Left-hander Barack Obama had a tough time as a kid in Indonesia.
Per the White House pool report, as Obama signed the guest book at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence:
“When I was in Indonesia, it was considered bad manners (writing with left hand). “Even though I would get hit with rulers, I just stuck with it,” he explained.
Obama also told Sara Netanyahu, “Michelle, she’s a right hander. I’m trying to work on it.”
