Oprah Winfrey is back into politics. This time for Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D), who is running for U.S. Senate out of New Jersey.
Via ABC News:
Winfrey is hosting a 200 person fundraiser for Booker in Jersey City and tickets range from $1,000 to $2,600.
The dinner takes place Aug. 1, according to the invitation.
Winfrey campaigned for then-Sen. Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign. She declined, however, to campaign for his re-election.
