Does this qualify as "turning lemons into lemonade?" The man who screwed up when he mispronounced "corner curio cabinet" on "Wheel of Fortune" recently and became a national story has found himself in the spotlight again.
This week, Paul Atkinson went from anonymity to being a punchline after his screw up on "Wheel of Fortune" went viral via YouTube. However, Thursday night Jimmy Fallon offered Atkinson a shot at redemption - giving him a second chance to pronounce "corner curio cabinet."
It should be no surprise that Atkinson nailed the pronunciation this time. And NBC rewarded the accomplishment by giving the man the prize that would likely have haunted him for the rest of his life - a corner curio cabinet filled with merchandise from Fallon's show.
