Week-Long Series of Nudity Events Set to Happen at Ivy League University

“Want to be naked more? Want to watch others perform naked? Want to step out of your comfort zone? Want to talk about nudity?”

Brown University is set to host a week long series of nude events, a college news outlet reported on Monday.

According to Campus Reform, which first reported the news, a program named "Nudity in the Upspace" promises to allow students to experience the virtues of nude body painting, nude yoga, and nude theater.

“Love being naked?” asks the event’s official description on Facebook. “Want to be naked more? Want to watch others perform naked? Want to step out of your comfort zone? Want to talk about nudity?”

"We want to make this a safe space for everyone and to reach out to as many communities at Brown as possible," it added. "All bodies welcome!"

A university spokesperson did not provide TheBlaze with comment by the time of publication, but said over the phone that the event was sponsored by a student group.

On Nudity in the Upspace's Facebook event page, the group specifically bars any photography during the events.

"[A]bsoultey no phones, camera, or bags will be allowed in the space," the group said.
