Ed Schultz says Christie supporters should 'be worried about' his lack of 'experience

MSNBC's Ed Schultz, a supporter of President Obama, said on his show Wednesday that supporters of newly reelected New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) have reason to give pause over any thoughts on 2016.

"If I were on this guy's team, I'd probably be worried about experience," Schultz said, responding to a viewer's question about whether the next presidential election would come down to Christie and former State Secretary Hillary Clinton.

"But Christie reminds me of kids at the lake on 4th of July," Schultz said. "They just seem to run out of their fireworks so fast."

Of course, a lack of experience was a criticism Obama faced as a first-term senator ahead of the 2008 presidential election.
