This Hail Mary May Just Go Down in History as the 'Most Improbable Touchdown You Will Ever See
November 17, 2013
"Play of the year!"
Auburn defeated Georgia in last night's gripping football game after Tigers quarterback Nick Marshall threw a last minute, fourth-quarter Hail Mary pass that ultimately ended up being caught for a game-winning touchdown.
With a mere 32 seconds remaining on the clock, Marshall tossed the ball across the field toward wide receiver Ricardo Louis.
The pass, however, ended up looking like a sure interception, but instead bounced off a Bulldogs defensive back and into Louis' arms.
Louis, with the ball in hand easily crossed over to the end zone and delivered a stunning 43-38 defeat to Georgia with just seconds on the clock.
Sportscasters immediately dubbed the throw the "play of the year," calling the "miracle" throw the "most improbable touchdown you will ever see."
