Absolute a**hole' or honest?

An update in our semi-regular series evaluating the statements of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). Is he being an “absolute a**hole” (AA), as Republican Sen. Tom Coburn once said, or simply honest?

THE TIME Reid said President Obama's false health care promise -- the one that unequivicolly stated all Americans could keep their existing health insurance under Obamacare -- "was true."

THE VERDICT: Reid's double down on the Obama claim came in an interview with an NBC affiliate in Nevada on Tuesday. "What he said was true," Reid said. Obama himself has apologized for his woeful untruth. So, why would Reid continue to defend it? The only answer is that in this case, he's being an AA.
