Most Wouldn't Wish This on Their Worst Enemy – She Tried to Frame Her Own Husband for It

A Pennsylvania woman has been charged by authorities after they say she downloaded child pornography on a home computer to frame her estranged husband for the unspeakable crime.

According to state police, 42-year-old Meri Jane Woods installed the explicit images on the family computer in August of 2012 and then three days later later reported the images to authorities, saying her husband had put them there, WPXI reported.

But, an investigation revealed that the images were downloaded to the computer on Aug. 11 — several weeks after the estranged husband had been ordered to leave the home by a court order.

According to WPXI, the woman has now been charged with a felony count of sexual abuse of children and 40 misdemeanor counts for allegedly lying to authorities.

She was released on a $25,000 bond Thursday.
