Report: Soap Star Fired for Allegedly Touching Female Cast Member Inappropriately
January 04, 2014
“I’m going to take some private time with my wife & kids, as I am most concerned for their well-being.”
An actor from “The Young & the Restless” TV soap opera was fired from the show after allegedly groping the breasts of a female co-star, TMZ reported.
Michael Muhney, 38, who has played villain Adam Newman since 2009, allegedly fondled the breasts of Hunter King, 20, on two occasions, TMZ said, citing sources connected to the show. King plays Summer Newman — the niece of Muhney's character.

He also allegedly "bullied and harassed" King, TMZ added; King reportedly told her bosses that the alleged physical contact upset her and wasn't consensual.
Last December, Muhney tweeted that he'd been let go from the series and details were sketchy, The Wrap noted. Muhney added at the time: “I’m going to take some private time with my wife & kids, as I am most concerned for their well-being.”
Representatives for Muhney, King and CBS did not respond to requests for comment. Muhney’s last show will air on Jan. 30, The Wrap added.
