During a joint appearance on the Tonight Show Monday, Sen. John McCain and his daughter, Meghan, were each asked about their early Republican picks for president in 2016. McCain signaled support for both Govs. Chris Christie of New Jersey and Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. But when host Jay Leno directed the question toward the younger McCain, she confessed that she likes Christie but is afraid he doesn't like her.
In related news, I've decided to give Chris Christie another shot at winning me over. If Meggy Mac is right, the guy clearly has some wits about him.
