Purdue University: One Person In Custody After Shooting Reported on Campus (UPDATED: School Official Confirms One Fatality)

UPDATE 2:25 p.m. ET: A school official confirmed at a press conference that one person was killed during the campus shooting. Police said they have one male individual in custody.
According to the police chief, authorities are "having little to no cooperation with the individual" taken into custody.
Nevertheless, police say they have secured the campus and "don't have any reason to believe there is any ongoing involvement." Authorities believe the shooter specifically targeted the victim.
