A new survey by Democratic Polling Firm Public Policy Polling finds that most Americans (61 percent) view game show host Donald Trump in a negative light. Just 22 percent have a favorable view.
By contrast, most Americans (57 percent) have no opinion or are "unsure" about Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, who earned notoriety this month for an enthusiastic, if a little obnoxious, post-game rant. Just 28 percent of respondents said they had an "unfavorable" view of Sherman, with 15 percent having a favorable one.
Trump defended Sherman's rant this week in an interview with Fox Sports, saying, "When you make the big play, you can say whatever you want to say."
