On Fox News's "America's Newsroom" Friday, co-anchor Bill Hemmer expressed (so much as a daytime anchor truly expresses) pure wonder at former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's complete normalcy, as put on display in the new documentary "Mitt."
Hemmer discussed some of it with Romney's wife Ann.
"When I was with you and the family ... in San Diego in May of 2012 he walked into the house carrying his own clothes!" Hemmer said. "Right? Then he went over to the toaster, put his own bagel into the toaster! He was doing it all!"
"He's a can-do guy," Ann replied. "He's a pretty independent, wonderful guy."
