Absolutely Nuts: Russian Military Training Video Shows Man Taking Shots to the Chest…and Then Firing Back!
March 17, 2014
Bullets fly inches from an instructors head.
A tactical weapons expert interviewed Russian military operators and filmed some of their insane training techniques — including shooting each other in the chest.
The video captured slow-motion video of bullets whizzing by the trainers' heads and entering bulletproof vests as the participants are wearing them.
Larry Vickers is a retired U.S. Army 1st Special Forces operator and a Delta combat veteran; he filmed the video for a series called TAC-TV. The exercises are part of the specialized Russian confidence training course.
The video shows trainees pushing people away while firing at the ground, shooting at targets just inches from volunteers playing innocent bystanders.
Vickers analyzed the training aspects rather bluntly: "Although I understand the concept behind this drill, in my opinion the risks involved are just too great. I would never recommend doing this in the real world."
"But remember, we're in Russia. This is their country, their rules," he said.
You have to see it to believe it.
