Vice President Joe Biden on Sunday warned Democrats in an emailed fundraising pitch that the party needs more money or it will lose the Senate in the November midterm elections to more candidates in line with Texas Republican Ted Cruz.

“We could lose,” tops the fundraising email for the Democratic Party. “Losing will mean more senators like Ted Cruz, and more Tea Party Republicans in the House.”
So why is Biden worried that senators like Cruz, or Cruz himself for that matter, could outwit and beat the Democratic party?
Cruz press secretary Catherine Frazier called Biden's pitch another example that Democrats are failing to deal with real issues plaguing their party.
"The Democrats want to talk about anything but Obamacare," Frazier told TheBlaze. "The president's namesake legislation is unraveling before our eyes, his polls are tanking, and the economy is still struggling. Elect more conservative fighters to Congress like Ted Cruz and we'll repeal it all -- now that's a winning message."
