Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza Unveils Captivating Trailer for His New Documentary 'America\

"The new evil empire."

Appearing on “The Kelly File” Monday night, filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza unveiled the new trailer for his upcoming documentary “America.” The film, D’Souza says, seeks to “answer the central moral challenge of America’s critics, which is that America’s greatness is based on theft, plunder and oppression.”

The trailer teases interviews with people like far-left Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson and Noam Chomsky. In the short video, the United States is described as the “new evil empire” as well as a “predatory colonial power.”

"How badly we need right now a Washington, a Lincoln, a Reagan. Well, we don't have them, but we do have us," D'Souza narrates in the trailer.

The film is set to be released in theaters on the Fourth of July.
