Man Claims He Found Something Unbelievable on an Old, Rusted-Over Air Conditioner

A Mississippi man believes that rust on an old air conditioner formed a divine apparition -- the image of Jesus Christ's face.

Christopher Goldsberry of Jackson County is convinced that the Christian savior's likeness can be observed through rust-laden wear and tear, though he admits not everyone sees what he does.

Jackson, who reportedly discovered the old air conditioner in a pile of junk his friend was selling, noticed the image and scooped the unit up for just $10, according to WTSP-TV.

"When I saw that, I was taken aback," he told WLOX-TV of the supposed image. "I knew who that was immediately, so I had to take a picture to send to my girlfriend."

Goldsberry, described as a Catholic who doesn't attend church regularly, is stumped over how he can so clearly see the image, while others don't.

"The gentleman I purchased it from didn't see any of it. Think about it," he added. "They don't recognize what it is. Some people see it, some people don't. Think about that."

Many others have reported seeing Jesus' face appear in uncommon places in the past, including on pancakes and drop cloths, among many other odd locations.
