A-List Actress Reveals Haunting Claim About Her Dead Grandfather: 'There's a Long Family History...
July 17, 2014
"I think we should all open our hearts and minds to magic."
Actress Emma Stone revealed a family "secret" about her deceased grandfather during an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" Wednesday night, claiming that he randomly leaves quarters around for her family members.
Stone, who made the ghostly pocket change proclamation during a discussion about paranormal phenomena, said that explaining the evidence would take a great deal of time, but that she's certain the quarters are being left by the grandfather she never met.
"There's a long family history with quarters. My grandfather leaves quarters. And it's just ... amazing" she said. "It's him! It's absolutely him."
Watch Stone speak about her grandfather below:
Letterman, too, discussed his belief that a deceased friend sometimes makes an appearance in subtle ways in his own life, though he said he'd be more interested in the paranormal if science could validate its existence.
Stone, though, added that she believes people who are open to it can experience the "magic" that exists in life — and that everyone should consider the possibilities.
"I think it only happens to people who are remotely open to it," she said. "I think we should all open our hearts and minds to magic."
Watch Letterman describe his experience below:
Stone, who plays a fake medium in the new film "Magic in the Moonlight," didn't offer up too many details outside of the claim itself. What do you think?
