Once You See Why This Man Is So Furious at Panhandler, It Becomes Clear Why the Video Has Amassed Two Million Views in Two Days

"This is crazy!"

A furious Oklahoma City man was caught on video confronting an elderly panhandler after he apparently saw her get into a “2013 car” after previously seeing her begging for money in the street.

“This is crazy!” the man, identified as Daniel Ayala, says in the video. “You are asking for money in the middle of street and you drive a 2013 car? … Listen, I work hard for my money. I don’t appreciate this sh*t. And that’s why people like you take advantage of people like me. This is bullsh*t!”

Seemingly growing more angry by the second, Ayala then tells the woman that if he sees her car there the next day, he will “bust a window.”

“I work f***ing hard! 40 hours! I see you hungry, I give you, everyday, $3, $2 — Thursday, I did not eat to give you $4,” he added. “I better not see this car tomorrow.”

Brandi Newman recorded and uploaded the video to Facebook on Wednesday and it amassed over two million views in just two days.

“I gave the lady in this video money the other day on Penn and 140th because she was holding a sign that said 78 year old widow needs money for food. So today I pull up to the Shell on that same corner and see her sitting in a cute little Fiat. As I'm sitting there thinking ‘I got scammed by a little old lady’, a man approached her car,” Newman wrote in the Facebook post.

Newman said it's "not right to bash somebody’s windshield," but added that Ayala's frustration was justified.

The 78-year-old woman is known in the Oklahoma City area for allegedly begging for money on a daily basis.

Newman told KFOR-TV that the elderly woman’s family contacted her and said their grandmother has a panhandling permit and “isn’t doing anything illegal.”
