Watch as Firefighters Respond to Reported Fire, Then Get Attacked by Waiting Teens

Ahead of Bonfire Night, the Nov. 5 commemoration of Guy Fawkes' abortive attempt to blow up the House of Lords, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service released video from November 2013 showing a frightening attack on firefighters.

In the video, firefighters can be seen investigating blazes burning in the streets of Leeds, England, but it soon becomes apparent that the street fires were a trap.

A group of youngsters can be seen sneaking up behind the firefighters, and one teen begins launching fireworks at them.

Covering the footage, the Telegraph reported that the release of the video is meant to remind the public of the dangers faced by firefighters during the fireworks-heavy season.

No firefighters were injured in the attack shown on video, according to a fire department spokesperson.
