Did You Notice What Was Missing During CNN's Ferguson Coverage on Tuesday Night?

It's something we've become accustomed to seeing.

After a few dangerous encounters and near misses, it appears that CNN may have altered how their reporters are covering the riots and protests following the grand jury's verdict in the Michael Brown case.

On Monday night, while reporting live from the streets of Ferguson after the grand just verdict was revealed, CNN's Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo were interrupted during a live hit by more than one protester who shouted, "F**k CNN!"

On Tuesday night, CNN anchor Miguel Marquez was broadcasting live from New York City when protesters spotted him and began chanting, "F**k CNN!" over and over.

Not long after the incident, Marquez was shown covering the ongoing protests. However, this time he was missing the standard "CNN" logo on his microphone.

CNN's coverage of the Los Angeles riots also featured a reporter without a network logo.

Just a week ago, CNN's reporters were in Buffalo, NY covering the massive snowfall and they were seen wearing winter coats with very visible logos from the network.

TheBlaze has reached out to CNN to see if the decision to remove logos from microphones or reporter's clothing had anything to do with concerns over safety. We will update this story when additional information is available.
