Crook Walks Into Store Without Uttering a Word, Fires a Shot and Flees. But His Mask Is Getting the Most Attention.
November 29, 2014
"He thought it was a joke."
A man appearing to wear a werewolf mask entered a check cashing store in California and shot at a contractor installing security bars, according to KABC-TV in Los Angeles.
The man "entered into the rear he displayed his firearm, a hand gun, shot the victim and then fled out the rear" before police arrived, Tamrin Olden of the Chino Police Department told KABC.
Armand Soliano witnessed Friday's shooting and said his coworker was grazed in the head, KABC noted, adding that he's in stable condition.
"He thought it was a joke," Soliano told the news station in Spanish, adding that the gunman "didn't speak. He didn't say a word. He shot him in the head for no reason."
