Things Get ‘Awkward’ and ‘Extremely Uncomfortable’ As Knicks Reporter Interviews ‘Hangover’ Actor

"You've got to stop texting me about him by the way."

Actor Justin Bartha, known for his role in the "Hangover" series, made things quite awkward for a Knicks reporter during a halftime interview over the weekend.

Asked by Jill Martin about his favorite Oscar nominee for best picture, Bartha responded that he enjoyed his friend Bradley Cooper's performance in "American Sniper."

That's when things took an odd turn.

"You've got to stop texting me about him by the way," Bartha told Martin. "Stop with the texting about Bradley. I know he's sexy and he's great, but it's enough already."

Martin tried to smile her way through Bartha's joke, but the "Hangover" actor continued.

"Everyone at home knows that you're always texting me me about Bradley Cooper. We get it. He asked about you once and I shouldn't have told you about that. What happened is that now you're obsessed," he said.

"I'm going to cut this off," Martin interjected. "And yeah, do you want to interview me for this?"

At that point, Bartha took the microphone from Martin and continued.

"Is it Bradley's good looks? Is it his acting ability? Or is it just his all around smarts that you loved about him?" he asked.

Martin didn't answer.

"I'm going to actually defect this to talk about the 'Hangover' trilogy," she said. "Is there a chance that there will be a 'Hangover 4?'"

"No," Bartha replied.

"Maybe we can do something like me and you — maybe we could get Bradley," he added.

"I don't know how this became about me, we wanted to talk about you," Martin quipped back. "On that note, we are going to cut to break."

Video of the interview has since gone viral online, amassing more than 1.3 million views since it was posted.

"This was awkward," one commenter wrote.

"She seemed to get extremely uncomfortable with that," echoed another.
