Lawmaker Caught Sexting Anthony Weiner's Online Mistress Apparently Exposed as State Democratic House Member From Indiana

An Indiana state representative has apologized following reports that he's been exchanging photos and sexual messages with Sydney Leathers, the same woman who made headlines in 2013 for sending racy messages back and forth with former congressman Anthony Weiner.

And after helping derail Weiner's New York City mayoral campaign in 2013, it appears Leathers is at it again.

Rep. Justin Moed, a Democrat who is engaged to be married later this year, released a written statement to the Indianapolis Star, apologizing to loved ones and constituents after multiple gossip and news reports detailed his online exploits.

"I am truly sorry I have hurt the ones I love most with my poor judgment. I am committed to rebuilding trust with my family and my community," Moed said. "This is a private matter and I ask for it to be treated as such. I apologize to my constituents and to everyone I have let down."

Leathers provided gossip sites TheDirty.com and Radar Online with direct messages that she claimed to have exchanged on Twitter with Moed — who purportedly used the handle @B**chBoy4you.

The exchanges are said to have began after the politician responded to a February 4 tweet that Leathers sent, seeking someone she could "financially dominate," the Indianapolis Star reported.

Leathers reportedly learned of Moed's identity only after he purchased a pink collar for her on Amazon.com and his name was accidentally included on the order slip.

A source told Fox 411 that Leathers received numerous gifts from Moed, including women's shoes, bubble bath, lingerie and money, which was sent to her through Paypal.

According to WTTV-TV, Moed also sent Leathers at least one photo of his buttocks and reportedly admitted to having past sexual encounters with a male.

The Twitter account that Moed reportedly used is no longer active, nor is his Facebook profile. Leathers, though, has been actively tweeting out articles about the controversy.
