Weiner's Sext Partner Speaks Out: 'I Am Proof' He Had Not 'Learned From His Mistakes

"Obviously I felt like he's saying one thing to me, another thing to his wife, saying another thing on the campaign trail. I don't know who the real Anthony Weiner is I guess."

The woman at the center of the latest Anthony Weiner sexting scandal says the disgraced former congressman and current New York City mayoral candidate told her that he loved her and misled New York voters about turning over a new leaf.

She said she is "proof" Weiner failed to learn from his past mistakes.

Sydney Leathers, a 23-year-old progressive activist from Indiana, sat down for an exclusive interview with Inside Edition's Jim Moret, which will air on CBS on Thursday and Friday. She says she also told Weiner she loved him and claims he came to her when making his decision to run for mayor.

Leathers said she was "shocked' that Weiner could make the same mistakes "all over again."

“He was making these campaign promises that he’d totally changed, that he was a better man now and had learned from his mistakes, and I am proof that that is not true," Leathers added.

She also accused Weiner of "absolutely" trying to mislead New York voters about his behavior and pressuring her to erase all the evidence of their conversations.

"I felt manipulated," Leathers told Inside Edition. "Obviously I felt like he's saying one thing to me, another thing to his wife, saying another thing on the campaign trail. I don't know who the real Anthony Weiner is I guess."
