A 'Wandering' Journalist Captured 'Heartbreaking' Photos Showing Nepal Just Before the Quake — and Right After the Destruction
April 25, 2015
"I took these photos an hour apart..."
A massive earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday.
One woman's pictures show the haunting before-and-after of the catastrophe.
Australian ABC News journalist Siobhan Heanue captured the calm before the quake and the destruction that followed, and she tweeted her photos soon after the disaster.
"I took these photos an hour apart. Was wandering when quake demolished temples before my eyes," she wrote. "Heartbreaking."
