A Nebraska woman with stage-four lung cancer was left in shock Friday night at a Garth Brooks concert.
Brooks' wife, country music star Trisha Yearwood, sat on the edge of the stage and performed her song "Prize Fighter" for Candi Troia, KETV reported.

The surprise was planned by the Omaha woman's family.
"While I was in the bathroom, my niece and daughter went to talk to the people behind the rope saying, 'Hey, my mom, my aunt has stage 4 lung cancer. I know Garth holds a special place in his heart for these kinds of people,'" Troia told KETV.

"Everyone is screaming and hollering, 'I heard her say where's Candi,' and I'm just looking around like, 'Oh, Candi, you mean me?'" she added.
A sign for Troia had also been spontaneously made backstage before the performance.
"I was in tears," Troia told KETV. "I think the whole audience was in tears, to tell you the truth."
"I'll never have an experience like that again," she added. "My bucket list is complete."
