A stash of gold marked Swiss Bank was found by a construction crew doing demolition in a German town last week.
The gold, found as bars and gold leaf, was discovered in two separate instances at the same site within a few days of each other, according to Passauer Neue Presse. The newspaper valued the discovery around $1 million Euro ($1.12 million).

It was found after a wall on private property in the "Three River City" was knocked down.
Hallertauer Zeitung reported that authorities are now trying to determine who the rightful owner should be. The newspaper noted a city official said that as lost property it should be kept at the city's lost-and-found office. Right now, the police have possession of the gold as they conduct their investigation.
