Fox News anchor Julie Banderas issued a fiery response Monday evening to a woman who demanded she stop tweeting in Spanish.

"If you are American, speak English," the individual tweeted to Banderas, who is daughter of a Colombian woman and has been tweeting in Spanish while in the country.

"I'm in Colombia and writing a Colombian airline so I'll speak Spanish. When I fly back to NYC I'll still speak Spanish. You sir may continue to speak the language of ignorance," she tweeted back.
Banderas currently anchors "America's News Headquarters" on Saturdays and "Fox Report Weekend."
