This Is What an NYC Pickpocketing Looks Like (See if You Can Spot It)

Police say the man is bald and in his 40s.

A well-dressed man was caught on surveillance footage stealthily snatching a wallet from a woman as he walked behind her out of a New York City subway, police say.

The suspect, who police say is bald and in his 40s, walked behind the 26-year-old woman at Penn Station before taking her wallet. The wallet reportedly contained $70 in cash, two credit cards and one debit card.

Police released this video of the suspect:

The incident occurred at the 1/2/3 subway station at 34th Street and 7th Avenue.

WNBC-TV reported that anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
