You might remember Adrian Grenier starring in HBO's "Entourage" as an actor who took a group of friends along for his ride to fame.

But after what Grenier posted on Instagram Friday to mark the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, he might be a little thin on buddy brigade:

“R.I.P. the 2,996 Americans who died in 9/11," his post read. "R.I.P. the 1,455,590 innocent Iraqis who died during the U.S. invasion for something they didn’t do.”
While the image was taken down not long after, Grenier didn't delete his tweet calling attention to the image. And as you might imagine, folks came out in droves to rip his message. Here are just a few examples:
@adriangrenier today was not the day to post this. Classless. You have no idea how families feel everyday on this day and everyday period.

@adriangrenier Wow, I can only imagine how the 9/11 victims families feel. Today was not the day. Today is their day. Have some class.
