An American Airlines flight from Miami to Chicago was forced to land in Indianapolis Tuesday after a "crazy" woman got into an altercation with a flight attendant.
"Everything was going fine … we were one hour away from Chicago and then the pilot got on the PA very loudly & aggressively announced a cabin lockdown and needed everyone in their seats immediately and needed large male volunteers to restrain a passenger," Jim Saviano posted on social media.
The plane then started descending faster than normal.
Once the aircraft landed, authorities came on board and "took off a crazy lady," Saviano said.
He added that it "seemed like she was on drugs," but admitted that was only speculation.
“Owww,” the woman is heard saying as authorities escorted her off the plane. “Call my mom."

The passenger tweeted out a photo of the incident and said it was "the most scared I've ever been in my life."
Definitely the most scared I’ve ever been in my life. Could only hear someone screaming and see several people in the back of the plane.

The woman, whose name was not released, has been charged with battery with injury to a person, battery with no injury to a person, battery with injury to a safety officer, criminal recklessness and disruption of a flight, WXIN-TV reported.
The woman reportedly struck airport authorities while exiting the aircraft, where she was met by the FBI.
No injuries were reported.
