Police Launch Search After Woman Goes Over Niagara Falls

New York State Parks Police are calling the incident an “intentional entry."

Police said they've launched a search after a woman went over Niagara Falls on Saturday.

New York State Parks Police are calling the 6 p.m. incident at Prospect Point an “intentional entry,” WIVB-TV reported.

Authorities didn't release information about the victim, including if she is alive, the station said.

A bystander took video of the incident, WIVB added, and authorities are using it in their investigation.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.
