Wow': New York Daily News Stuns Again With Provocative Cover Sure to Rile Up Gun-Loving Americans

The New York Daily News released another provocative cover following Wednesday's deadly attack in San Bernardino — and this time, the liberal New York tabloid took aim at the National Rifle Association.

The front page, set to hit newsstands Friday, listed NRA executive Wayne LaPierre as a terrorist and suggested he was of the same breed as Dylann Roof, Adam Lanza, James Holmes and Wednesday's California attackers.

The Daily News added that the NRA was waging a "sick gun jihad against America in the name of profit."

The cover was immediately slammed online.

The shock cover comes one day after the newspaper proclaimed in big bold letters that "GOD ISN'T FIXING THIS." That headline, which was heavily criticized, was affixed in the middle of tweets from Republican politicians who offered prayers for victims and their families.
