Chilling New Photo Shows San Bernardino Terrorists Stepping Onto U.S. Soil for First Time Together

A chilling image.

A new photo obtained by ABC News reportedly shows San Bernardino terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik arriving in the U.S. for the first time as a married couple.

The killer couple entered the U.S. legally on July 27, 2014, at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. They both passed through customs.

In the chilling photo, Malik’s black veil is pulled back as she stares coldly into the camera. Farook can be seen in the background also staring expressionless into the camera. It is said to be the most recent photo of the terrorist couple released to the public.

Less than two years after the photo was taken, Farook and Malik slaughtered 14 people and injured 21 others in San Bernardino, California.

The FBI said Friday that it is investigating the deadly shooting as an act of terrorism after it was revealed that Malik allegedly praised the Islamic State in a Facebook post during the attack.

Malik and her American-born husband were killed in a shootout with police hours after they opened fire on a gathering of Farook's colleagues last Wednesday.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
