For the Record': Could DOJ Policies Leave America More Vulnerable To Attack?

In the wake of the San Bernardino attack and the refugee crisis in Europe, the way in which law enforcement uses profiling as a policing tactic has again become a hot topic for debate.
As we reported in an Oct. 2014 episode of For The Record, the DOJ has implemented new policies on profiling, including provisions that limit its use in national security investigations.
Former FBI special agent Jonathan Gilliam and former FBI National Terrorism Task Force member Steve Rogers warn that limiting the use of profiling in counterterrorism investigations could have dire consequences for the nation.
